Fans and BJBL Participants Have Pizza With the Players!
On Saturday, November 8, many fans, including lots of BJBL girls players, met the 2008-2009 BHS Girls Varsity and JV teams for pizza, autographs, pictures and fun. The first 20 fans received autographed basketballs. In addition, everyone in attendance received a color picture of the team. After a group picture (see below), everyone was able to watch the Lady Bulldogs in action in a practice.

There were HEROs at the Fieldhouse!
On Saturday, November 8, 120 people participated in the Bulldog HERO Clinic led by Coach Joshua Kendrick and the high school boys basketball staff. It was a very fun and busy afternoon! Each participant and his or her HERO practiced offensive drills and defensive drills together, participated in some friendly contests against one another, listened to motivational messages, enjoyed a visit to the locker room, learned why they were each other’s hero, were educated on strength and exercise, and had fun playing basketball in an energetic scrimmage.
At the end of the session, the participants and their HEROs received pictures and T-shirts, had pizza and subs, and were treated to a great speaker. There were many BJBL players who participated.
